Dave Drabkin

Dave Drabkin has over 44 years of federal government contracting experience in both the public and private sectors. Dave worked for the DOD, the General Services Administration (GSA) and the Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee (HSGAC) of the U.S. Senate. He has also worked for Northrop Grumman Corporation and Dixon Hughes Goodman, LLP.

Dave is a Co-Principal Investigator on tasks for the Acquisition Innovation Research Center (AIRC), Stevens Institute of Technology.

Dave also serves as the Administrator of the Council of Defense and Space Industries Association (CODSIA), the Chair of the Procurement Round Table, a Director of the Public Contracting Institute, and Advisor on the Board of Advisors of National Contract Management Association and Advisor, Dustoff Technologies, LLC.

Dave recently served as Chairman of The Advisory Panel on Streamlining and Codifying Acquisition Regulations (Section 809 Panel). The President of the United States appointed Dave to the Acquisition Advisory Panel (SARA Panel) and GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) Panel.

Dave’s awards include the “Wash100” award, the Charles A Dana Distinguished Service Award (NCMA); Public Sector Partner of the Year Award 2009; Presidential Meritorious Rank Award 2009; Federal 100 Top Information Technology 2002/2003; Association for Federal Information Resources Management Leadership Award in Acquisition & Procurement; and the CINC USAEUR Award for Civilian Service.

Dave has a Juris Doctorate from Cumberland School of Law and a B.A. in philosophy and political science from Washington & Jefferson College.
