Lieutenant Colonel Jeremy “CAAST” R. Geiger is an Assistant Professor of Systems Engineering and Distance Learning Program Director in the Department of Systems Engineering & Management, Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT).
Geiger joined the Air Force as a Special Projects Systems Engineer in 2005 working for the Space and Missile Systems Center, Space Development & Test Wing at Kirtland AFB, NM as a Minotaur IV Mission Manager. He attended the United States Air Force Test Pilot School, and graduated as a Flight Test Engineer in 2013. From there, he served as the Fighter/Tanker Test Flight Commander in the 445th Flight Test Squadron and the Director of Flight Test Engineers in the 418th Flight Test Squadron, both at Edwards AFB, CA.
His research interests include organizational agility, innovation, performance measurement, organizational behavior, and human factors.
Geiger earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Michigan State University, a Master of Business Administration from Arizona State University, a Master of Science in electrical engineering from Arizona State University, a Master of Science in aeronautical engineering (Flight Test & Research) from Air University via USAF Test Pilot School, and a doctorate in systems engineering from AFIT. He also a member of Tau Beta Pi, an engineering honor society.
