From the executive summary: “On February 26, 2021, Secretary of Defense Austin directed an inaugural round of on-site installation evaluations (OSIEs) at select installations with a focus on each installation’s prevention capabilities and ability to effectively address risk for sexual assault (SA), sexual harassment (SH), suicide, and other harmful behaviors. This initial round of OSIEs served as a pilot for the OSIE process and to ensure an enduring evaluation capability that could be replicated in subsequent years.”
