Christina Patterson

Research Staff Member

Christina Patterson is a Research Staff Member at the Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA). She has served in that position since August 1997. During her tenure, she has served as project lead or contributor on dozens of research and analysis projects spanning a wide variety of national security and defense topics. From 2006-2009, she served as a Special Assistant at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). While at USINDOPACOM, she focused on the execution and further maturation of the Plans to Resources to Outcomes Process (PROP) to identify and prioritize USINDOPACOM capability requirements. Ms. Patterson received her bachelor’s degree in international Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and her master’s degree from American University in International Affairs.
