Converting a Risk to an Issue: Introduction to the Project Recon Risk Management Tool , January 12 , 2026
From the document: "When a risk is no longer able to be Mitigated due to loss of sufficient time and/or when the Likelihood and Consequences are more real-time and current, then the Risk may have become an Issue. Rather than manually creating a new Issue record in Project Recon, the "Make an Issue" function can be used to easily convert the Risk record to an Issue record. During this process, the original Risk is marked 'Closed' and a new Issue is created as a copy of the original risk's attributes and properties. This also includes the properties of any mitigation activity that will be converted to a corrective action plan."
