In accordance with the authority in DOD Directive (DODD) 5124.02, this Directive-type Memorandum (DTM): • Establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides procedures for the expansion of the Military Parental Leave Program (MPLP) pursuant to Section 701 of Title 10, United States Code (U.S.C.), as amended by Section 621 of Public Law 117–81, also known as the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022.”
