Effective 5 December 2025, the United States Army Western Hemisphere Command (USAWHC) (Unit Identification Code (UIC): WA1WAA) is established as an operational-level Army force at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. On combatant command assignment, USAWHC is designated as an Army service component command (ASCC) providing Title 10, United States Code support to the United States Northern Command (NORTHCOM) and United States Southern Command (SOUTHCOM). USAWHC reports directly to the Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA).
b. Effective 5 December 2025, USAWHC exercises administrative control (ADCON) authority and responsibility on behalf of the Secretary of the Army (SECARMY) over Army Forces and, on combatant command assignment, exercises operational control (OPCON) over Army and Joint Forces, as delegated by the Commander, USNORTHCOM and Commander, USSOUTHCOM throughout the USNORTHCOM and USSOUTHCOM areas of responsibility."
